Before beginning this work, it can be helpful to gently clarify some common questions. Below are responses to what often arises as one steps into a healing process.

Do you offer sessions in both English and Mandarin?

Yes. Sessions are available in both English and Mandarin.

You are encouraged to choose the language you feel most natural and comfortable with. Working in your preferred language often allows for deeper expression, more nuanced exploration, and a more integrated therapeutic process.

I don’t live in Taipei (or I’m outside of Taiwan). Can I still work with you?

Yes. Online sessions are available and have been an integral part of the practice for many years.

Clients are based across different regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia. With the support of current technology, depth-oriented psychological and somatic work is no longer limited by location. Meaningful connection and continuity can be maintained across distance.

Is online work as effective as in-person sessions?

In practice, there is no essential difference in effectiveness.

It is common to wonder whether online sessions might feel less real or impactful. However, through video, it is still possible to attune to subtle shifts in facial expression, body responses, and emotional processes. Depth work can unfold in a grounded and precise way. Some clients even prefer working online, as being in a familiar environment can support a greater sense of safety, ease, and openness—allowing deeper access to internal experience and subconscious processes.

That said, others value the presence of in-person sessions. The most suitable format ultimately depends on your personal preference, needs, and inner sense of what feels right.

How often should I schedule sessions?

In the beginning, a weekly rhythm is generally recommended. This helps support the nervous system in gradually developing new patterns of regulation and integration.

As your process stabilizes, the frequency can be adjusted. For example: biweekly → every three weeks → monthly → or as needed.

A standard session is one unit of time, though some clients choose to extend to a 1.5-session format when deeper work is needed. At certain points, you may also choose to pause or complete a phase of work, with space for reflection and integration.

How long does the healing process take?

Each person’s process is unique, and it is not possible to determine a fixed timeline in advance.

Our current patterns and states are often shaped over time, and meaningful change tends to unfold gradually. During the process, there may be moments when emotions arise or release — this is a natural part of integration.

With ongoing awareness and support, the system gradually reorganizes toward greater balance, stability, and resilience.

Do I need to prepare anything before the first session?

No specific preparation is required. You are welcome to simply arrive with an open and relaxed mindset, and wear something comfortable. If you wish, you may bring notes, creative expressions, or personal reflections to share.

It is also recommended to leave some space after the session, allowing time for your internal experience to settle and integrate.

Can I reschedule or cancel an appointment?

Yes, with advance notice.
  • More than 24 hours in advance: no charge
  • Within 24 hours: 50% of the session fee
  • No-show without notice: full session fee

The same policy applies on both sides. If a session needs to be changed from the practitioner’s side, you may choose a refund or have the session credited. This policy is in place to respect both time and the therapeutic space.

What if I’m not sure which service is right for me?

This can be explored during the initial session.

Based on your overall situation and needs, appropriate directions and recommendations will be offered to support your process.

Are there options if I have financial considerations?

​If needed, installment options may be available.
